Most popular 250cc bike Honda CBR 250R visiting the markets on April 2011

The most popular bike manufacturer company Honda is going to reveal new 250cc bike as Honda CBR 250R which is going to be launched in this April 2011 in India. It is expected to be released in both India and Thailand. This bike will be the first 250cc segment whose features contain anti-lock braking system that prevents wheel lock while sudden braking. The developers of CBR designed it as it can meet the demands of present times and provide the customers the riding joy at an attractive affordable price. They maintained many aspects of a bike like frame size, riding position, displacement, driving stability etc. Ease of riding, a sporty feeling while riding, optimizing both beginners and experienced riders etc were also in their mind. The price of this bike is from 1.5 lakhs to 2.0 lakhs in India.
It's a sports type bike having fuel consumption 25 in city and 35 in highway. It is a four stroke single cylinder bike with 249cc engine displacement. This bike will have largest engine displacement over the other bikes of Honda. Maximum engine power is 26 Bhp at 8500 rpm and maximum torque is 23 Nm at 7000 rpm. It contains 6 manual gears. Its 2035 mm long 1125 mm high and 720 mm in width with 161kg in weight. Its fuel tank is 13 liters and the cylinder contains 4 valves. It contains some special safety features like telescopic suspension in front and swing armed suspension in rear, 296 mm disc brake, stand alarm etc. It has liquid-cooled 250cc single cylinder compact engine which provides both environment friendly and maintain the ease of riding. Its light weight and sporty shape will be able to meet the bike lover's needs. It will be available in three attractive colors.
They are Red, Black and Grey. To experience the excellent feelings of riding which a sport bike can provide only with nice flexible riding position and space can be combined in this new bike. The front projection is reduced by its slim shape and singled cylinder engine. The new Honda CBR 250R will include an analog tachometer that is placed in center of instrument panel. The speed will be displayed in LCD and there will be also the checking system that will check if the meter is right or wrong. These meters are designed like a sports bike which will provide the rider a racing spirit.

2011 Kia Sportage SX Review

Mechanical Specs

General Motors ready to launch Camaro in India.

AMERICAN CAR maker General Motors is all set to launch its sports car Camaro in India. Though tentative launch date and price of the car is not revealed, the car is expected to hit roads at a price of around Rs 30 lakh. Camaro in India will be launched as a brand builder for the company among people in India. The company intends to increase sales to 300,000 units in India by 2013 and has planned to launch 6 new vehicles in association with SAIC in next two years.

Chevrolet Camaro was displayed at the Delhi Auto Expo held last year in India. This  car would be most expensive car from GM in India, however it ranks as the cheapest sports car in the world.
In US market , Camaro base price starts at around $20,000 and goes up to $40,000 . Being a completely built unit, an import duty of 110% will be paid on it  causing the rise in the  price to almost double.

The company is also planning to introduce an 800 cc powered Spark ,making it the cheapest car from GM in its 14-year operations in India so far. General Motors allready sells the Beat, Spark and Cruze models in India.

Vehicle sales in India grew a record 31 percent in 2010. Analysts said ,Indian automobile  industry  could grow to $113 billion by 2020.GM sold 110, 804 vehicles in India last year. Presently, it holds only 5%  market share in the country . GM India expects its  sales to grow at double the pace of the industry in 2011 and hoping to compete in small car segament.

Safety Facts about Seat Belts

Everyday millions of people rush around through their normal routine, jump in their cars, and take off.  If you are a listener of music you won't forget to turn the radio or CD on.  We remember to make our phone calls while driving.  Some people even shave or put make-up on while behind the wheel.  How many of us don't think of fastening our seat belts?  If you or someone you know struggles with remember to use a safety belt, here are some facts to help keep it in the forefront of your mind.

Wearing a seat belt reduces the risk of injury during an accident by up to 50%.  Up to 60% of child fatalities due to car crashes could be prevented with the use of a safety belt.

If your seat belts are old or do not fit properly they should be replaced.  Contact the manufacturer of your vehicle and ask if they cover or assist with the cost of this replacement.  Some car companies have been known to replace seat belts for no cost to the consumer.

Proper use of seat belts prevent crash victims from being thrown around inside of a vehicle or out the window of a vehicle during a crash.  This, also, limits the affect of whip lash and the impact received from air bags deploying.
